Expressed grief on death of Hindu girls in Pakistan

A recent example of his unwavering commitment to the Hindu cause came when he expressed his grief over the tragic deaths of two Hindu girls in Pakistan. Taking to the social media platform X (formerly Twitter), Pawan Kalyan shared a heartfelt post, saying, "It pains a lot to see our Hindu sisters in Pakistan going through such atrocities and losing their lives." In the post, he also expressed his deep sorrow for the ongoing suffering of Hindus in neighboring countries like Pakistan and Bangladesh, writing, "Every time I see such news about the plight of Hindus in Pakistan and Bangladesh, it pains me deeply. I pray for Hema and Venti’s departed souls with tears."

Tirupati Laddu Controversy

As the Founder and President of Jana Sena Party (JSP), Pawan Kalyan gained nationwide attention for his vocal support of Sanatana Dharma and his efforts to highlight the issues faced by the Hindu community. One of the major incidents that brought him into the spotlight was the Tirupati Laddu controversy, where he condemned the alleged adulteration of the laddus as an attack on Sanatana Dharma. His strong stand during this controversy and his barefoot pilgrimage to Tirumala as an act of penance solidified his reputation as a staunch advocate of Hindu values.

Pawan Kalyan's commitment to defending Sanatana Dharma was further emphasized in his Varahi Declaration, where he vowed to protect and promote Hindu traditions at all costs. He has also consistently spoken out on issues concerning the safety and rights of Hindus globally.

Called Hindus global minority

In his November 4 post, Pawan Kalyan once again highlighted the plight of Hindus as a global minority. Reflecting on recent events in Canada, Bangladesh, and Pakistan, he expressed his deep concern, writing: “It pains me deeply to see our Hindu brothers and sisters enduring persecution, violence, and unimaginable suffering in places like Pakistan, Afghanistan, and recently, Bangladesh. Hindus are a global minority, and as such, they receive little attention, little solidarity, and are easily targeted. Every act of hatred, every instance of abuse against them is a blow to all who cherish humanity and peace."

He further expressed his dismay at the recent attack on a Hindu temple and Hindus in Canada, stating, “Today’s attack on a Hindu temple and on Hindus in Canada strikes at the heart, sparking both anguish and alarm. It is my fervent hope that the Canadian government takes immediate, decisive steps to ensure a safe and secure environment for the Hindu community there.”
